Creators need to be nurturing their audience the same way they did when they were acquiring it with organic, non-sponsored content. This type of content stems from a true willingness to share a piece of artistic expression or a part of one's life. When a branded campaign gets posted, it should seamlessly integrate into one's feed without disrupting the flow.

Oftentimes, we see Creators with an overabundance of sponsored content; in other words, their ad-to-organic content ratio is disproportionately high. Too many ads, too few avenues to organically nurture an audience. We find the sweet spot to be around 1 ad per every 4 to 5 organic posts for influencers with a consistent posting schedule. This ratio has become an increasingly concerning metric when casting influencers. It doesn't tell the full picture, but it's an important metric to help determine authenticity and audience nurturing.
