Dear Kavanagh Productions Clients and Partners:

First, here’s hoping this message finds you well and safe. We know most of you are in the epicenter of COVID-19 infections here in the U.S., around New York City.

We trust that you have found ways to keep your families and co-workers sheltering in place and practicing good health and safety precautions and I hope these measures are working.

Here at Kavanagh Productions, we have made good steps forward to keep our operations working while sheltering at home, with our edit systems and drives, cameras and recording equipment accessible to us without traveling outside.

We’ve been completing projects throughout the last week remotely and collaborating over Zoom (video conferencing and desktop sharing app), using the internet to continue to work together.

We’re keeping in touch with clients and vendors as best as possible and hope to be helpful to you as you make the necessary adjustments to work under the present realities of life as well.

Please stay in touch with us. Let us know if you have questions. We're happy to help if you're looking for advice as to how best to record media at home or remotely, if you need help with postproduction while keeping safe, or just to say, “Hi” at this difficult and challenging moment.

Two-day freelance crew gig on remote in Dallas, TX for non-profit in fair housing advocacy. Paid gig, experienced freelancers only:

Director of Photography- interviews indoors- need lights, Sachtler or similar tripod, familiarity with Sony FS7 (ours), great at lighting. DP will also shoot narrative scenes in a car, shot in South Dallas area. Small crew.

Audio Engineer- interviews single setups, plus mic off-camera narrative audio for car scene, assist DP (our gear)

PA- person with car, flexible and familiar with lights, gear to help producer, cast, DP and audio engineer. Someone who looks for ways to help a must.
