Dr. David Cohen, the esteemed energy healer and alternative medicine practitioner who helped Ms. Delphine McCrae heal herself naturally of breast cancer without chemotherapy and surgery has died. I am honored to have interviewed him before he made transition. He died three weeks ago. I just received the news today. It's just disturbing how one can lose friends and not even know. Prayers go out to his family, friends, and patients during this difficult time.

She survived breat cancer by natural means with the help of Dr. David Cohen, a physician who uses unconventional methods to identify and treat dis-ease. More than ten years have passed since Delphine did battle with this formidable disease, and she glows with health, contentment and joy.

At the tender age of 10, Tonya decided that she wanted to become a hairstylist. She was inspired by several Brooklyn based entrepreneurs in the hair care industry.

Upon graduating from High School, Tonya realized that working in Corporate America was uninspiring to her. Her creative mind and entrepreneurial spirit led her to Wilfred Beauty Academy in NYC. After graduating and becoming a licensed professional, she has held down an array of jobs in the beauty industry.

Over the course of her 27 year career, Tonya has been a Nail Technician, a Beauty School Instructor, and a booth occupant in major NYC salons.

For 6 years she styled hair and wigs for some of Broadway's biggest productions such as Fela!, Lion King, Phantom Of The Opera, & Beauty And The Beast. It was during her stay on Broadway that Tonya realized why she loved freelancing in the entertainment industry. "You never know what's gonna happen!" Tonya has discovered herself to be a problem solver, who can rise to any occasion, meeting unexpected obstacles with grace and ease.

Tonya is a native of Brooklyn, NY. A mother of 2children: Aaron 23 and Kamilah 14. Tonya has found her niche in film & television. She is currently freelancing on shows such as: The Following, The Americans, The Blacklist, & The Black Box to name a few.

Tonya is passionate about helping young women learn the art of entrepreneurship.
