Allow me to re-introduce myself (: hi! I’m, Claire Rifkin, MS, RDN, LDN 🩵 I’m a women’s health registered dietitian who writes, owns a private practice, and makes evidence-based content online. I’m also currently pregnant, so pregnancy nutrition has become both a professional AND personal interest of mine.
Welcome to the party! 🥳
I’m a registered dietitian content creator focused on evidence-based women’s health. I have a particular love for making nutrition science easy to understand and applicable to real life.
My goal as a dietitian is to actually make you think about food LESS! I want you to understand healthy eating well enough that you’re able to not really think about it too much and just live your life. I’m also *very* anti-fear mongering, anti-perfectionism, and anti-diet culture. Ain’t no food shaming around here 🫡
Around here we talk about a variety of topics that impact women and women’s health. I know that is probably anti-algorithm, but I am a complex and curious human being, and I have a hard time talking about one specific thing forever and ever.
So! you can expect content on pregnancy nutrition, postpartum nutrition, PCOS (I’m a specialist!), GLP-1 science, realistic meals, grocery finds, nutrition myths, and decoding our relationship with food.
Being pregnant has given me a VERY different appreciation for women and what our bodies do for us. It’s also given me a new special interest in figuring out ways to eat nutritiously when you’re exhausted, nauseous, or (most times) both.
Yes I do a lot, but I’m a Gemini sun, cancer rising, Capricorn moon. What do you expect??
I also genuinely believe that each leg of my work informs and strengthens one another. For example, my work as a journalist makes me a better private practice dietitian because I need to keep up with the latest nutrition research. And my on-camera media work strengthens my consulting work, because I see how different marketing strategies land with different audiences.
In my nutrition private practice I work with women looking for support with PCOS, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, GLP-1 nutrition, and relationship with food. My approach is individualized, weight
