Chicago-based attorneys with Crowell & Moring represent Little Caesars in the dust up over the term "Pizza Puff." They just asked a federal judge to stay a Dec. 19 preliminary injunction that ordered the pizza chain to "immediately stop using" the term.

"Little Caesars has made immediate and significant efforts to comply with the courtโ€™s preliminary injunction order," the Crowell & Moring lawyers said in a motion filed Tuesday asking for a 20-day extension for the restaurant to be fully compliant. "Although the vast majority of the materials with the term 'Pizza Puffs' have been removed or destroyed, Little Caesars is dealing with some logistical issues relating to physical drive-thru menus at Little Caesars restaurants with drive-thru operations."
