I've noticed lately some old house folks asking about kitchens without upper cupboards. If you have a lot of stuff you may not be able to pull it off, and it may not be to everyone's taste, but I wanted to share some pics of my very efficient and workable kitchen. I keep my pots and pans in a standing cupboard, my dishes and utensils in another one on the opposite side of the kitchen and my countertop work space is a large work table. Again, not everybody's cup of tea, but it can be done with some imagination!

Laundry rooms don’t need to be boring. This one is tucked away on the upper level of the home and packed with everything our clients asked for: hanging space, a deep utility sink, upper and lower storage, and a dedicated spot for folding. We went with earthy sage cabinetry paired with a stunning honed marble countertop and tile backsplash to keep it timeless. Function first, always—but it doesn’t hurt when it looks this good, too.
