Consistency is boring until it works.

Because nobody talks about how much of fitness is just… doing the same stuff over and over again (including the never ending laundry).

Going to the gym when you’re not motivated.
Eating the protein.
Getting the steps.
Doing the cardio you absolutely did not want to do.
Wondering if anything is even changing.

And then randomly one day you realize you’re stronger, your clothes fit different, and something that used to have you fighting for your life feels… manageable??

Just keep showing up!!

Respectfully, I was unavailable… I had an appointment fighting for my life at HYROX DC 😅

More to come on this experience but all I know is that I’m hooked!

Came in at 138:33 for my first time and I’m really proud of that considering it was mainly untrained with only about 3 weeks notice- one of which I was in Toronto for work with no access to a gym and one I was dying from my period 😅

For those who don’t know, here’s the breakdown (these are the women’s open weights. Women Pro, Men, and Men’s Pro have different weights):
1KM run
1000 km SkiErg
1KM run
50m sled push @ 225lbs
1KM run
50m sled pull @ 172lbs
1KM run
80m burpee broad jumps
1KM run
1000km Erg
1KM run
200m Farmers Carry with 35lb kettle bells
1KM run
Walking lunges with 22lb sandbag
1KM run
100 wall balls with 9lb ball

Shoutout to Wesley Hodges for cheering me on at every station and supporting me throughout the whole event (and life 💖)

Can’t wait to properly train for my next one and crush another PR!

Would you do this?

08/27/2026

In a world that always wants to make you feel and be smaller, don’t forget that if you want to train like an athlete, then you also have to eat like an athlete. Fueling yourself properly is not a suggestion- it’s a necessity in order to run longer, lift heavier, and get stronger.

Lately, I’ve been pouring into things that require far more faith and fewer immediate results—my business, my health, my relationships, and honestly… myself.

There are days where it feels like you’re doing all the right things and nothing is changing. You’re putting in the work, sticking to the deficit, making sacrifices, staying consistent, and wondering if any of it is actually making a difference.

But true growth isn’t meant to be a microwaved overnight success.

Every “boring” day, every small decision, and every moment you choose to keep showing up is another seed being planted for a harvest you haven’t experienced yet.

So here’s your reminder (and mine): keep planting. Keep watering. Keep trusting.

What’s one seed you’re planting right now that you hope pays off in the future? I’d love to hear it.

Just a glimpse into a typical event with Double A Management. Most events have me switching from my Chief Operating Hat to my Photography Hat- and often wearing both hats at once!

This past weekend we had the opportunity to help produce the Sapphire Golf Tour and, last minute, I had to pull out my camera to make sure the moments were captured.

But that’s one thing I love about my job- you can plan everything to a T but when life inevitably happens, you have to be able to pivot on a dime and never let the client or the guests see you sweat.

I’m blessed to be stressed (or whatever the cool kids say these days).

If you have an event coming up and need an event management team, talent procurement, creative consultation, a content team, DJ services, or even sponsorship procurement, let’s talk!

Lately, life has been pretty simple: work, workouts, repeat.

It’s not the most exciting season from the outside, but it’s the one I’m in right now. I’m learning that not every chapter has to be perfectly balanced all the time—sometimes you lean into building, and other times you lean into resting. Right now, I’m trying to figure out how to do both a little better.

Also… surprise! just wrapped up Day 9 of 75 Hard! It’s already teaching me way more than discipline, and I’m excited to see how it continues to challenge me over the next couple of months!!

I’ll definitely be sharing more updates along the way. Thanks for being here, even when the content is mostly emails, gym selfies, and trying to spread as much joy as possible.
