The puppy has successfully undergone surgery to remove the large tumor on his face and has passed the first critical stage. However, he is still very weak and eating very little.
According to the vet, he will need ongoing chemotherapy as he is suspected to have Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) that has spread to the bone.
His fight is not over yet, but we are hoping for a miracle. ❤️
Every share and every bit of support means hope for him and many other abandoned animals we are caring for.

The silence of the rubble is suddenly broken by a sound that no one expected: a muffled barking, coming from the bowels of a collapsed house.

The rescue teams stop. Time freezes. Under the tons of concrete and dust, they can't find a human. They find Max, a Golden Retriever covered in ash, trembling but motionless.

Max was not stuck. He could have run away from the first shock. He could have gone out alone. But for 48 hours, he chose to stay. He turned into a living shield, his body wrapped around Luna, the family's cat, injured and terrified.

He used his own warmth to keep her alive. He collected the dust and cold so that she didn't have to do it. He refused to move an inch until the rescuers had taken Luna out first.
