Drawn from the Messe de Minuit pour Noël by Marc-Antoine Charpentier, this accessible TTB setting of Sanctus by Dan Miner reflects the charm and clarity of French Baroque style. One of Charpentier’s twelve settings of the Mass Ordinary, the Midnight Mass for Christmas is distinctive for its use of traditional French carols as melodic foundations. An optional accompaniment is included, with the flexibility to perform a ca****la.

🍂Welcome fall with new music!🕯️ Written by Christi Jones with lyrics by Coty Raven Morris, Don’t Calm the Storm begins in the heart of turbulence, capturing the feeling of being swept into a storm both literal and emotional. At its center lies the message that instead of calming the storm, we must calm ourselves—an idea that opens the door to the piece’s next section of peace and resolve. The work concludes with a thoughtful nod to the original hymn The Storm Is Passing Over by Charles Albert Tindley, bringing the journey to a reassuring close.
