I am recording the guitars for the latest remix. Upon listening back to what I have, I had a profound thought. As a kid, It was no secret that I was the WORST guitar player in Valley Stream, Lynbrook and all of Long Island for that matter. I got kicked out of my first two bands that I STARTED (and deservedly so. I was just horrible). And I say this with the greatest humility - I am still in music , I am my own boss and I rock pretty hard for a 62 year old man, I get to work with the very best musicians and I get to share my work with all of my family, friends and the world.
For the record, I played some music for my Niniéto John and he smiled and bounded to the beat. I realize that all of it is a gift from God himself and In the list of people who deserve these Blessings, I am sure I am at the bottom of the list. Yet I know I have our Father's Underserved Kindness. Playing and recording inspired music is an absolute gift and I am so grateful for all of these Blessings.

Do you know what 800 hours* of Baritone Rhythm Guitars looks like? OMG...My eyes... and I'm not done!
The Big Remix is taking another genre and mixing it with pop.
Sounds innnnnnsane.

*Not the actual number of hours. A gross exaggeration. But it's a lot.

I want to thank everybody for the incredible response to The Big Remix of "I Know A Name" by Elevation Worship and Brandon Lake. I am super-blown away by the feedback and I thank you. My concept behind The Big Remix was to find incredible songs and vocal performances, then take them to a totally different vibe while bringing out the very best of the vocals. The music has been produced and performed by me with the solos played by Mitch "The Franchise" Diamond. While I engineer and mix everything, I rely on Peter "Fader" Kuperschmid for his always amazing mastering. bMy hope is that this will catch on and I will be able to build a great team of remixers.
