For this powerful work, we licensed Martha Wainwright’s anthem “Bloody Mother F**ing Asshole” to amplify a movement and give voice to an urgent cultural conversation. Big thanks and congratulations to .studio for having us on this important project.

BRONZE for “Fast Asleep” — Music in Sports / Innovation
Together with The Lab at Comcast, we created a concept album for Xfinity - an innovative 8-track album designed to help you fall asleep after an adrenaline-filled day at the racetrack, or at home rooting on your favorite number. Thank you to and The Lab team for trusting us with this exciting creative opportunity.

Some have described our orchestral rearrangement of Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Savage’ for this Fanatics spot as classy, bougie, and ratchet. Others have called it sassy, moody, even nasty. Either way, we had a blast working with Anomaly to bring the music idea to life. Also handled the post mix on this one!🪄🎶

More cool duo-news! Our own crafted the score for Transaction Cancelled, a film that premieres next week as part of The New York Shorts International Film Festival! This film marks Brian’s second collaboration with director Sebastian Kim.

Set in Chinatown, the story follows a young man on the edge of desperation, who concocts an elaborate web of lies and schemes to secure cash, leading to a chaotic day of deception, confrontation, and an unexpected moment of revelation.

The film premieres this Tuesday, 10/14 at Cinema Village in NYC. Big congrats to Sebastian, Brian, and the whole crew behind this project.

Thrilled to share the news that “Don’t be late, Myra”, a film scored by Peter Nashel and Brian Deming, is Oscar-qualified in the “Best Live Action Short Film” category!

The film, written and directed by Pakistani-American director Afia Serena Nathaniel, follows 10-year-old Myra as she navigates a seemingly simple trip home from school in Lahore. We are proud to have contributed to a film that spreads an important message, and challenges the cycles of violence in private and public spaces.

Congratulations to .nathaniel on this exciting and well-deserved Oscar news.🏆

Last week we hosted an incredible fireside chat at our duotone studios.

In partnership with , the topic of our panel was, “The Power of Women’s Voices: Listening, Learning, and the Future of Music for Advertising.” We gathered trailblazing women from across the industry who are reshaping how stories sound, and made sure their voices were front and center. We are so grateful to our wonderful panelists, , , TT The Artist , and , who each brought a unique and masterful perspective to the room, and our fearless moderator for steering the conversation. Showcasing both of duotone’s female executives onstage underscored the significance of this discussion.

This powerful evening reminded us of the value of amplifying women and diverse voices and creating space for honest, forward-looking dialogue that shapes culture. We left feeling inspired, energized, and more committed than ever to shaping a more inclusive industry together. Thank you to our colleagues, clients, peers, and the broader community who joined us for this special night and helped bring these important topics to the stage.
