Always honored to call one of our own! Last week, Dana co-hosted a workshop event alongside Boston and , aiming to provide mentorship and career-building skills for young people. They invited five music-industry mentors to speak and introduce the participants to the many career avenues in the industry beyond the stage.

duotone is proud to have sponsored the event, supporting the next generation of music professionals with some snacks and drinks to keep the good vibes flowing.

What a night — we’re beyond proud to share that “Reproductive Refrain,” a film by .studio and , took home Best in Show and Best Use of Licensed Music at the 2025 AMP Music Awards!🎉

Our music supervision — featuring Martha Wainwright’s raw and powerful “Bloody Mother F*cking Asshole” — helped underscore the film’s message: an unapologetic call for reproductive rights.

Extending a huge congrats to the masterminds behind the film, and with .studio , as well as our collaborators at . And thank you to for believing in the power of this message!

Side note, if we had a quarter for every time we won a music award with the word “asshole” in it, we’d have two quarters. Not that many quarters, but still...

This exciting addition marks the latest step in duotone’s strategic expansion and dedication to creative evolution, while staying true to the bespoke, craft-driven roots on which the company was built. At duotone, Sydney will join Head of Music Production & Partnerships, Ross Hopman, in leading production efforts and cultivating new creative opportunities in the music-for-media space.

Most recently, Sydney was the driving force behind a collaboration with rapper Logic and a leading regional healthcare provider on a music-driven PSA that became a catalyst for real legislative gun reform in Maryland — and has spent the past decade turning creative chaos into award-winning soundtracks.

A founding member of the Rolling Stone Culture Council, Clio Music Awards judge, SXSW official speaker, and recurring guest lecturer at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment, Sydney brings a deep well of experience in original music, artist collaborations, supervision, and audio post across every screen imaginable.

Thrilled to announce that two projects we worked on over the last year are being awarded Clios!

’s “Hammerless,” a four-part podcast series created for fans of has been awarded a Silver Clio for Audio - Streaming/Downloadable Content, as well as a Bronze Clio for Digital/Mobile - Storytelling! Thank you to .ny for bringing us on to handle the original score, sound design, and mix.

“Reproductive Refrain” - an important film from .studio and , has been awarded a Bronze Clio for Film Craft - Licensed Music! We were honored to handle the music supervision, placing Martha Wainwright’s iconic “Bloody Mother F*cking Asshole,” as well as the mix for the film.
