To all you campers that want to have some solar, it
doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. I
spend the whole winter in the desert with my
Casita and one battery to run my heater and lights
as well as charge up my toys. 100 watt renergy
solar set up which is easy preesy to install and it's
all good. Needs 100 watt suitcase panel with the
solar regulator. No need to spend thousands at an
installer. I use an old extension cord to give me
about 30 feet to make sure my panels are in the
sun. Getting 13.9 volts in at 10 30am. Fully
charged by 2pm. I hang the little plug out the
battery vent and just plug the panel in when I land.

This is my best hack and it is getting more popular
all the time. These 9' sun umbrellas are actually
the best fire shelter and heat capture ever. Easy to
put away at night or if a storm is coming. You can't
see the warmth but we sometimes have a fire in
our yard in the winter and sit under the umbrellas.
If you like the fire but your back gets cold try this.

I wanted to share what I use for paper plates and
utensils. I found a sewing kit. It fits everything
nicely and it's portable. When it's not in use it's in
the underbelly. This keeps everything dry and I
don't need to go in and out of the camper. I had
plexiglass cut to divide the utensils. This has
visited so many campsites and has lasted over 10
years

Meet SHAKONOHEY cherokee for ( land of blue
smoke) refers to the smokie mts, Dolly parton has
a song, I miscarried a baby 16 yrs ago that I named
that so it has meaning to us Tennessee folks e
bought this 1985 Jamee back in November spent
most of the winter and spring replacing lots of
parts and making it into our home, We have spent

My favorite reno yet! We removed the dinnette and
built a 6 foot table in our small 26 foot camper
which in turn added space for 2-3 more people to
sit, added a ton of prep space and gained about 2
feet of floor space! I absolutely could not be
happier!
Now to cut the barstool legs down a bit to give
some leg room. The table will stay pushed all the
way up against the way unless we need it

I have the awful habit of following posts here and
never sharing anything of my own. So l'll do a two

The first photo, I used a cutting board and
hardware from Amazon to create a 22x30" counter
extension that collapses when not needed.

And the second is a storage space we built under
the 5th wheel.

Tiles, all new hand painted faux marble
countertops and backsplash, pole wrap
headboard, residential lighting fixtures, antique
hardware, and LVP flooring + ruggables
