The Current is the undergraduate journal of contemporary politics, culture, and Jewish affairs of Columbia University. The Current is published quarterly, with over 1,200 print copies and 10,000 web hits per issue, reaching students, faculty, and the world beyond Columbia.

Mission: The Current has earned a reputation for publishing the best undergraduate writers at Columbia, providing readers with provocative and insightful articles about the most relevant issues. With content that ranges from art reviews and humor essays to bold political analysis, The Current is widely regarded as the Columbia home for exciting, original undergraduate writing.
