Kanye West’s new documentary In Whose Name? has left fans shocked at the rapper’s verbal abuse toward Kim Kardashian and others, sparking questions over what unseen material he still holds.
The film, released last month, was cut from more than 3,000 hours of footage recorded across six years. It shows Kanye screaming at relatives, clashing with colleagues, and leaving Kim in tears. Sources close to Kim say the release has reopened old wounds and reminded her that Kanye is still in possession of private clips.
“He’s threatened many times to release things,” the insider told reporters. “Kim knows he’s sitting on a mountain of footage. She’s terrified he’ll twist it to humiliate her or expose family secrets.”
Kim, 44, has long defended Kanye’s struggles with bipolar disorder, but behind closed doors she is said to be deeply worried about their children seeing the darker side of his behavior. “The thought of her kids watching their father’s worst moments breaks her,” the source added.
Kanye, 48, has also faced criticism for comments about his current wife Bianca Censori, once writing online, “I have dominion over my wife.” His history of control, paired with threats of unreleased tapes, has left Kim feeling trapped.
“She left him five years ago but there’s still no escaping him,” the insider said. “Living in fear of what he might do next is exhausting. For Kim, it feels like psychological warfare.”
