We are excited to announce the release of Alyssa Mercedes Mena's new work for alto flute and bass flute - Hermanas. The work, which was commissioned by Trevor James Low Flute Artists Rose Bishop and Heather Neuenschwander, is a tribute to sisterhood and the "connection between two lives bound by companionship and care."

For this week's we are highlighting Valerie Coleman's thrilling work "Revelry." The work was commissioned by and premiered by in November of 2018. Decoda went on to record "Revelry," which was released in May of 2024 on the group's debut album. "Revelry" then received a 2024 GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Classical Composition - Coleman's second GRAMMY nomination.

Today we are excited to launch a new series on our social media - Coleman Page Friday Features! Through this series we will highlight the incredible composers in our catalog, as well as the many accomplishments they have achieved through their works.

This week's Friday Feature is Connecticut-based composer Brittney Benton. Benton's piece "Invitation to Love" was a winner of the 2022 a ca****la HerVoice Competition and is available for purchase on the Coleman Page website!

saw the debut release of Valerie Coleman’s Matisseries for solo flute, inspired by the artwork of Henri Matisse, as a gift to her dear friend Trudy Kane. Several flutists walked away with copies signed by Kane, including the composer herself. Special shoutout to Dr. Emily Dierickx whose beautifully crafted, well research program notes are a delightful addition to the publication.

It was a joyful 4 days in Atlanta as Coleman Page operated its first booth at NFA. I want to personally thank all who visited the booth and sent us well wishes, including our booth mate , our booth assistants, social media team, and a special shout out to all who have assisted Coleman Page to reach this point including Philadelphia Orchestra Principal librarian, Nicole Jordan, who empowered us with advice and encouragement to embark on this venture in the company’s infant stages.
