For the past several years, the Indie Series Awards began taking submissions in September in preparation to celebrate the best independently produced series of the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone the submission process for the 12th Annual ISAs until 2021.
Around the world, nearly 30 million people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since the pandemic began. In the past 24 hours, there were 292,307 new cases reported (34,078 of them in the United States). Our team is looking forward to the day we can celebrate the dynamic and diverse work of the indie community with you all in person. Below is a tentative timeline for the 12th Annual Indie Series Awards, which will likely celebrate the best of both 2020 and 2021.

Early Entry Period Opens: January 1, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. ET
Early Entry Period Deadline: March 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET
Regular Entry Period Opens: April 1, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. ET
Regular Entry Period Deadline: August 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET
Extended Entry Period Opens: September 1, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. ET
Extended Entry Deadline: November 30, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET
LAST CHANCE Entry Period Opens: December 1, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. ET
LAST CHANCE Entry Deadline: December 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET
As of today, our plan is to hold the 12th Annual Indie Series Award ceremony in April 2022. We will keep you updated over the next few months as new information becomes available.
