MY MIL BOUGHT A HOT DOG COSTUME FOR MY ELDEST DAUGHTER, WHILE HER BIO GRANDDAUGHTERS GOT PRINCESS DRESSES.

I'm still in shock and angry as I write this. I have three daughters: Mabel, my eldest from a previous marriage, and my two younger daughters from my current marriage. Last week, my mom passed away, and I had to leave for her funeral in another state. My biggest worry was the girls' upcoming school ball — I hadn't bought their dresses yet.

My MIL assured me, "Don't worry. I'll handle everything. You go."

I trusted her.

On the day of the funeral, I got a message from my MIL. I opened it, hoping it would brighten my spirits. But instead, it was a punch to the gut. My younger daughters were dressed in beautiful princess gowns while Mabel stood there in a ridiculous hot dog costume, looking humiliated.

To make it worse, MIL's caption read, "Every princess needs a sidekick, right? Here's ours!"

I was shaking with anger. And my husband was fuming even more. So, he didn't let it slide for my MIL. ⬇️

I moved to a new city for work and was actually hyped about the change. But there was one big issue... my neighbors. From the get-go, it was like they had a personal vendetta against me. They nitpicked every little thing—how I trimmed my bushes, my flowerpots that "didn't match the vibe" (and yes, they straight-up stole them!), and they even called the cops on me for playing music at 7 PM.

But it hit a whole new level during Halloween—my fave time of year. I spent hours setting up the cutest decorations, only to wake up and find them wrecked. Only a smashed pumpkin left behind. I was convinced it was Catherine, the flowerpot thief. I marched over, yelling, “YOU'RE A WITCH!” but of course, she denied it.

Determined to catch her in the act, I put up new decorations and secretly set up a camera. A few nights later, I hear something outside—decorations, gone AGAIN. But when I checked the footage, it wasn't Catherine or any of the neighbors.👇

My daughter Lacey got really sick with pneumonia. I spent every moment in the hospital with her, completely drained. One day, I got a message from my neighbor, Carla, and my jaw hit the floor.

"Are you SPECIAL or something? Why isn't your house decorated for Halloween? It's almost the end of October, and your house is the ONLY one ruining the vibe."

I couldn't believe it. Here I was, worried about my daughter, and Carla was upset about decorations. I explained that I'd been in the hospital for two weeks and didn't have the money or time for Halloween this year.

MY MOM FOUND OUT MY WIFE WAS TREATING ME LIKE HER SERVER SINCE I WORK FROM HOME AND STOOD UP FOR ME.

Well, it was a hard three years. When my wife, Ruby, gave birth to our two sons, she spent about two months with them and then rushed back to work. At that time, I switched to working from home, so I was okay to be the kids.

In a few months, I found myself not just working and taking care of our kids, but also cleaning and cooking, as Ruby came home saying she had no energy and didn't want to do any chores. Meanwhile, I didn't want to live in a dirty house.

Then, the kids went to kindergarten, but Ruby still felt that I had to do all the chores. I didn't even have time to meet my friends. Recently, my mom brought lasagna for me (she never visits on a weekday), and was confused.

She'd never seen me cooking and cleaning at the same time, especially after I'd just picked up Ruby's clothes from the dry cleaners. She was like, "What the hell? Do you do this all the time?"

I nodded. For the first couple of years, it was okay, but now I'm simply exhausted from how Ruby puts her career first, while I work full-time too.

ANIMAL BONES STARTED APPEARING ON MY DOORSTEP – I SET UP A SECURITY CAMERA TO FIND OUT WHAT IT MEANT
My husband and I recently moved into our new house. From day one, I wasn't feeling great about the neighborhood. It just seemed so dull and gray, and the people were oddly distant and emotionless.
Everything about it was strange. But the weirdest part was our first morning. I stepped outside and found a pile of animal bones right by our front door. "Is this some kind of joke?" I thought and just cleaned it up.
The next morning? More bones. Same thing the day after! But the most terrifying part was when we found a pile of bones inside our fireplace in the living room one morning.
That's when I had enough. I set up a security camera at our front door. Sure enough, I found bones outside and in the fireplace again the next morning. I sat down to watch the footage ⬇️
