Mark your calendar and get ready for a fun time as HitOldies proudly presents: The Independence Day “Firecracker 500”! We’re counting down the top 500 songs of the 1970s starting at 6:00 am Friday, July 4th through Sunday, July 6.

Join us as we bring back the FUN and excitement of how radio sounded back when all your favorite songs were played on AM radio! You’ll hear things that are sure to bring back some fond memories. And for you younger people, you’re gonna hear some music that’ll blow your MIND! We’re sure you’ll hear songs you never heard before - so be sure to visit our website at HitOldies.net, because we will post the names of all the songs you hear, in chronological order!

Coming soon, we will announce the names of some big name, legendary guest personalities… well-known jocks that some of you in our audience may remember from former hit music stations like 68 WRKO Boston, KTNQ “Ten-Q” Los Angeles, and even 89 WLS Chicago!

We KNOW you love our music, and our unique radio format that recreates the original sound of AM Top 40 radio from the 70s & 80s - that's why we're called "MUSICRADIO"- the branding used at WLS Chicago and WABC New York during the Top 40 era -

With HitOldies expanding, being heard now on Live365.com, Weekends on WRMI Radio Miami International - on a 500,000 watt transmitter covering all of North America and the fish at sea, having to cover costs of hosting our website and the infrastructure (computer automation recent upgrade, the power drain and so forth), our expenses exceed $500/month.
