Open wide!!
We were lucky enough to be able to watch this Humpback lunge feed several times. It was up and gulped hundreds of fish in seconds and appeared without warning, the only way I could photograph it was by watching the Gulls that all took to the air from the water and circled above when it was about to lunge. If you look closely, you can see the little fish trying to escape its mighty jaws, and also the inside of its mouth where the baleen is that filters out all of the excess water but keeps the fish in.
