Master the Shoulder Throw – Safe & Effective Self-Defense Tip 💪

Learn how to protect yourself with smart technique, not force! ⚖️
🔹 Step 1: Secure Your Grip
Hold the person’s sleeve near the elbow with your left hand 🤚, and with your right hand, reach up to their shoulder or as high on the sleeve as you can. (Fig. 1)
🔹 Step 2: Get Balanced
Keep your torso upright while gently bending your knees. Then, lean forward slightly in a controlled movement. 🧘
🔹 Step 3: Use Smart Movement
Pull downward and slightly to the left with your left hand, while your right hand pulls forward and to the left. At the same time, gently press your hips back toward their thighs. 🍃
💡 This motion helps shift their balance, allowing you to guide them safely over your shoulder. (Fig. 3)
