Unnecessary $100 mod but worth it.
No more dark shower

Reflectix is a must and it works. It blocks heat and
light, too. I need light. So, I fix.

Two IP67 marine rated LED lights and one dimmer
switch from Amazon. All 12v, 15a on new wire I ran
to the existing spare connection in the control
panel. 1/4" air brake line is cheap and makes a
good fish tape to fish the wires. Cleaned and spray
painted the skylight inner trim, checked for leaks,
stuffed extra insulation in the ceiling around it all,
and put it all back together.

2025 RD 177 we were surprised it did not come
with front stabilizer jacks. The front is very
unsteady and rocks a lot. Is this common protocol
for Keystone. Anyone add the after market, and
which ones?

We are new to the Travel Trailers & trying to make
everything work best for us during our travels! Did
some updates to our 2018 Jayco which we just
purchased last August, we were only able to use it
a few times last year. Getting it all ready for our
trips planned this summer!

Had to share this GREAT space saver my husband
Dan built under the bed ! It gave us 4 pretty good
size drawers! We love it!! Plus we still have
storage behind the drawers!

Our bathroom is 40" x 40" (and that's a generous
measurement). It might not be the 'prettiest'
bathroom you've seen since there's not really room
for decor, but every corner serves its purpose well
and to me - that's beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚
find it a fun challenge to organize every space
efficiently. Since the shower is very tiny and
moisture can cause trouble in an RV, we don't use
the shower. Instead, it serves as my dresser/vanity
space.
If you zoom in, you'll see
-Shelves for cleaning supplies & ๐Ÿงป
-Straps for the dresser on travel days
Tension rod to keep the dresser from faling on
travel days
-Washboard for light laundry
Clothespins for small laundry
-Shelves for tiny necessities like Q-tips
-A gallon of water for frozen pipe days
-Trash can for ๐Ÿงป(front holds toilet brush)
-Hooks for towels & cleaning rag
-Shelves for toiletries
Hidden on the side of the dresser are 3 collapsed
buckets/basins for dishes & laundry. Behind the
dresser is a full size, collapsible laundry basket.
Over all, a very efficient and organized use of a
small space, in my opinion

We'll.they say a picture is worth a thousand
words, so the picture below will make my post
much shorter!

We only drove about 35 miles to a local
campground in our new rear kitchen t... never
had any problems like this in our other tts, so I can
only imagine that there is more activity back there
than I realized!

How should we proceed? Are there better dishes
to use, a gizmo to put in the cabinet to prevent
this?

The cabinet was closed tightly, but even on the
way home - with the remaining few intact dishes in
there - one flew out the minute I opened it in our
driveway!

Any and all advice gratefully considered... Thank
you in advance!

Many have commented about the RV door panel
cracking. One person used plane white vinyl from
Hobby Lobby. We tried that but the cracks showed
thru. Then i found this door mural on Walmart. It
was a challenge being in two pieces. First i tried
installing with the door on its hinges. I quickly
removed the door then worked on a table. (The
window is another story) A few tips. I cleaned the
door with Acetone. And used a hair dryer to soften
the vinyl and pressed it down using a wash cloth
to press into the texture. Start to finish about three
hours.

I haven't seen anyone do this yet. I am sure a few
people have. But we originally were looking to put
rugs down on the floor to help insulate it because
we saw a lot of people on here recommending it
While looking I ended up finding these carpet
squares. They are about an inch thick with foam
on the back. Iif they get strained/ruined we just
take one out and replace it. You can cut them to
fit around corners and things like that as well.
also found it to be a lot cheaper than most rugs.
Ne did the whole floor for $200 with plenty of
extra squares (40ft 5th wheel). Just wanted to
share for an alternative to rugs
