It is amazing after camping in our RV, for only one
year of use, and with maybe 10 weeks of 14 weeks
of camping I decided to change the anode rod.
This is what the anode rod looks like in the hot
water tank. I flushed the hat water tank out after
removing the rod, it had lots of calcium and
sediments in the bottom of the tank. Campground
water is not the best water. The picture has a new
one next to it so you can see the difference.

I posted about using Flex Seal on the first 12
inches of your awning to protect it from the sun
while rolled up which it is the majority of the time.
Here are some pics of mine after 5 years. This was
two coats of Flex Seal. I didn't spray it, spray is too
much of a mess. I bought 2, 3 inch cheap paint
brushes and painted it on. Waited till the next day
and reapplied it. Waited 48 hours till I felt it was
completely dry to roll up. It is stored outside, no
cover. I used black because the top of the awning
was black and it looked better rolled up.

Added a vinyl fence post from Lowes under
camper to hold my drain hose. The bumper
storage is too small unless I remove the ends and
that's a pain

Camping hack my dad taught me - not pretty but
wOrkS.
Get an old wire shelf from and old fridge/ freezer/
stove and zip tie under your steps - keeps dirty
shoes out of the trailer and does not interfere with
steps folding in. Also keeps rain off them

A friend of mine told me about a product that he
uses on his roof so I got some and tried it. It really
works great with very little labor involved. Just
spray on and wait about 10 minutes and spray off
with water hose. Repeat on spots that didn't
remove the first time.

Awesome cleaner for our awning. It worked great.
Sprayed it on, rolled it up for 20min. Rolled it out
and used a Mr.Clean magic mop. Sprayed it off.
edit : its called " La Totally Awesome " from the
dollar general / dollar tree depending where you
live. Lol I mixed about 5oz in a 34oz sprayer. I also
got from the same store.
