Earlier this week, in the elegant Salon Pompadour at Le Meurice in Paris, La Liste unveiled the World's Best Hotels 2026 and we were there to celebrate an extraordinary global community of hoteliers.

This year, ten exceptional properties share La Liste's highest distinction, each scoring a perfect 99.5/100, including gracious host Le Meurice, one of two Parisian palaces at the very top of this year's ranking.

Beyond the Top 1,000, 24 hotels were honoured across seven La Liste Hotel Special Awards, celebrating the properties shaping the future of hospitality through innovation, design, sustainability, authenticity and heartfelt service, from Tulåh Clinical Wellness Sanctuary in Kerala to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in South Africa, with The Chancery Rosewood London named Opening of the Year and Don Alfonso 1890 taking home Heart & Soul Hotel.

A vision years in the making, now welcoming one of motorsport's great traditions to the Athenian Riviera.

This week, The Εllinikon Europe's largest urban regeneration project, opened the first stage of the EKO Acropolis Rally Greece, a legendary fixture on the FIA World Rally Championship calendar. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis officially opened the stage.

"When we started Ellinikon many years ago, we wanted to put Greece on the map," said Odisseas Athanasiou, CEO of LAMDA Development. "There is nothing more symbolic than this. Ellinikon is a project for all."
