When the Forsaken expansion launched in 2018, Destiny 2 players were promised an incredible new arsenal of weapons. But due to a massive bug in the RNG drop rates, almost every heavy weapon engram in the game decoded into a gr***de launcher named Edge Transit.
The community’s vaults were absolutely flooded with identical Edge Transits. It became a legendary inside joke that Bungie had to officially address in their weekly updates before finally patching the drop rates. Years later, Bungie leaned into the meme by bringing the weapon back as an absolute powerhouse.
