A bottlenose dolphin named Fraggle has moved millions of hearts after researchers captured drone footage of her gently carrying her newborn calf for six heartbreaking days after it passed away. She refused to let her baby sink, staying by its side as though love itself wouldn't let go.
Researchers revealed that Fraggle had already lost four calves before this, making her quiet act of devotion even more heartbreaking. Throughout those six days, her pod of around 14 dolphins never left her side.
