Join us in celebrating Lambkin's unique artistry that combines sounds from pop, electronic, R&B music with Black futurism and modern dance. Featuring interdisciplinary artist Hymn's experimental and imaginative work, this performance is a reverence to creativity, poetic articulation, and a freshly eloquent perspective.

The Transa Rising project from the Lincoln Center in collaboration with Red Hot supports some of the community's talented young artists at the beginning of their careers.

Music starts at 7:30 Thursday, March 5th; you can just show up at Lincoln Center!

Electronic, R&B, pop music, modern dance, and Black futurism help define Lambkin’s artistic vision. Where the visceral meets the cerebral, where the natural enacts the synthetic, that's where they are. They're joined by Hymn, an interdisciplinary artist of Jamaican descent, who reimagines the intoxicating polyrhythmic rapture of self-expression, offering a powerful meditation on resilience, transformation, and the enduring beauty of being unapologetically whole.

The storied arts collective Red Hot is best known for the album Red Hot + Blue, which uplifted q***r culture amid the grief of the AIDS crisis. Benét thinks of his latest indie rock album, Make ‘Em Laugh, as a game of Clue. He’s trying to map out exactly when and how a relationship failed, capturing the insights and stories of the myriad players in the room, conveying lost love and grief.

Red Hot’s 2024 concept album, TRAИƧA, spotlights Benét among the most daring, imaginative trans and non-binary artists working today. The Transa Rising project supports some of the community’s talented young artists at the beginning of their careers. Thursday, March 5th, Lambkin performs for the same series; links in our bio for both shows.
