It started like any other Tuesday morning. I was in a rush at the grocery store. As I pushed my cart, I noticed a man struggling with a toddler in the cereal aisle. His daughter who was around three was in full meltdown mode, tears streaming down her face. The man looked utterly defeated, and I felt a pang of sympathy — I had been there before.

"Need a hand?" I asked, offering a smile. He looked up, clearly relieved. "Thank you," he said, running a hand through his hair. "It's just the two of us since her mom left us a year ago."

So, my husband, Michael, and I planned to be together for the birth of our first child. We had everything planned — down to the music and the tiny hat he'd put on our baby. But guess what? When the time came, he was a NO-SHOW. The nurses kept trying to reassure me, saying he was probably just delayed. But deep down, I knew something was wrong. When our daughter Emily was born, I was overjoyed — but where was Michael?

After two days in the hospital, I went home with Emily, trying to convince myself that there was some reasonable explanation. Maybe work? An accident?

But nothing could've prepared me for what I found. The house was dead silent. I ran upstairs to the nursery, thinking he might be there preparing a surprise for me. My husband Tom and I bought our dream house with an awesome backyard and a hot tub.

Recently, our neighbor Lisa asked if we could keep it down in the evenings. I was like, "What night are you talking about?" She said there was loud music and shouting from our yard on Sunday night. But we were out of town on Sunday, which was super weird.

After Lisa's comment, we decided to dig a little deeper.

We set up a hidden camera overlooking the hot tub and took a short trip the next weekend, leaving the house empty. When we got back and checked the footage, we were shocked. The early years of my marriage with Tom felt like a dream. We were young, in love, and blessed with two amazing kids. Tom worked hard, but that only seemed to deepen his appreciation for our family.

MY ALWAYS-BUSY HUSBAND PLANNED TO TAKE HIS LOVER TO A SPA HOTEL BUT TOOK ME INSTEAD FOR OUR 15TH ANNIVERSARY - IT DIDN'T TAKE ME MUCH TIME TO COME UP WITH A REVENGE PLAN.

Jack and I have been together for 20 years. But for the last 5 years, he has never remembered our wedding anniversary, always "missing" it due to work trips, while I prepared all the surprises.

This year, he came home from work and, to my SHOCK, presented me with flowers and said, “You have 30 minutes to pack your things; we're going to a SPA hotel!”

I thought I was dreaming... FINALLY!! After a couple’s massage, we were getting ready for the celebratory dinner!
