TWO SYSTEMS. ONE SEAM

For SS27, PRIVATE POLICY PRIVATE POLICY isn’t interested in choosing sides—or sanding down the differences until everyone feels comfortable.
Titled Stitched, Not Blended, the collection brings Chinese and American visual languages together while allowing each to remain entirely its own. Basketball becomes the common ground: mesh jerseys and warm-up sets meet satin tailoring, Mandarin collars, floral prints, pearls and enough metal hardware to make a little noise.
Sport gets delicate. Femininity gets competitive. And backstage, between the flash, the flowers and one very chic basketball, everyone looked ready to play by their own rules.
Because unity doesn’t have to mean becoming the same. Sometimes, you just need to trust the stitch to hold.
