So i use spray paint for work sometimes, and every time I use up a can, I brutally stab it with a screwdriver to retrieve the marble inside.

So far these are my findings

Of my 17 marbles, the majority are large clear, 8 to be exact, 4 are the lovely blue color, 4 are small clear, and one i could not get the paint off of, we don't talk about him

M size 11.5 on one foot 11 on the other
No banana because I don't enjoy radioactive fruit.

I work in an automotive shop and would just like to remind people that one digit in a part number can make a HUGE difference as is evident with our newly acquired 4" socket with a 2.5" drive... Australian 50c coin (our largest coin) for size reference

Edit: for everybody wondering the part number was supposed to be sp23711 - an 11mm 1/2 inch drive

Edit 2: whenever the suppliers rep is in town he does a top up stock order which meant there was no quote or pre approval before dispatch. End of the day, we are keeping the socket because all of us at the shop have grown attached to it

Eating raw pork is very common in Germany 🇩🇪 but I've heard that other people think that's repulsive? It tastes best with salt, pepper and some onions on top. (I didn't have onions 🤧)
We also take a big slab of raw pork and sculpt it into hedgehog shape and stick salt sticks in it, we call it Mettigel.
Mettigel = minced meat hedgehog

A few years ago at my store I had a customer pay $1500 on his account in cash, this is what he gave me. I've never seen this many bills with sequential serial numbers so, of course, I had to put them in order and take a picture. No bananna for scale because I took this picture before DMC existed.

This contraption is completely mind blowing…. It is comprised of two hundred nineteen gears 12T-120T, and two 22T-120T…. If the first gear made a rotation every second, the universe will reach maximum entropy(death) long before the final gear makes a single revolution.

The math: (120/12)^219 x (120/22)^2 x 1= 29.752e219 seconds, or 9.42e212 YEARS.

The age of the universe is approximately 13.7e9 years old and is expected to reach maximum entropy(when all energy in the universe is equally distributed and no more work possible) earliest estimate in 10e100 years (10 followed by 100 zeros)…

The universe will reach that point 9.42e111 years before the final gear makes one revolution.

The other day I saw the movie "Inglorious Basterds" . One of the most memorable scenes is the fight between Archie Hicox & Sergeant Wilhelm at the bar, as his cover is foiled for showing the number 3 with his hand.

Today I brought this at my running club & those who come from continental Europe (no Brits & Yanks were there) were surprised that there's such a difference.

So how do you make a sign of number 3 with your hands? Thumb, index, middle? Or index, middle, ring, with the thumb & little finger joining at the bottom? Picture for illustration.

Age 28. Shoe size 43. I eat exactly one banana for lunch from a banana container that has a fixed curvature, luckily so far every banana can get in there with no problems.

How on earth do you prevent cats from ruining furniture, specifically sofas. My cats have ruined this second hand sofa i’ve got but i really want to buy a new one. Trouble is, i don’t want to spend 100s for it only to be ruined again.

I'm in Prague for a small vacation. Last night, we suddenly found shelter under a portico for a sudden heavy rain.

We have a lego man in our fridge. I have no idea how he got there but he has been there for around 3 yrs. He falls over every now and again so i sit him back up. I presume he needs a laugh every now and again seeing me ramming wafer thin ham straight out of the box into my face bo**ok naked at midnight. I can't bring myself to take him out he lives in there now. I feel he needs a name help appreciated.
