Hi everybody-
hope all of you are well...
Since it is that time of the year, let me start by giving thanks:
Thanks to all of the guests that have appeared on the show. You honor and humble me with your presence.
Thanks to all of you that watch, like, follow, subscribe, and comment. There would be no show without you. You inspire me every day.

This week's show is going to melt the internet! Look who we have:
Professor Evelyne Laurent-Perrault, who is of Haitian/Venezuelan descent, and a historian with a specialty in the African Diaspora, and feminism in Colonial Latin America and the Caribbean. She is also the founder of the Arturo Schomburg Symposium.

and

Trinidad and Tobago's Professor Camiile Selvon-Abrahams who is one of the only Black female animators in the world. She has won numerous awards in film and TV and created and runs her own animation institute and studio. She is also the founder of the Animae Caribe Animation Festival.

Both of the ladies have traveled extensively in Africa and other places in the world. They bring a deep passion, knowledge, and expertise of pan-africanism and understanding of the diaspora.

Hi everybody-
This weekend will be a continuation of our discussion with Environmental scientist and Pastor, Perry Chan.
Pastor Chan runs the Mukuvisi Woodlands nature preserve (http://www.mukuvisiwoodland.co.zw/) that is in the middle of the city of Harare. You see, one of the things I try to do on the show is share things that you may not be aware of. Mukuvisi Woodlands is one such place. And it is important for us as Zimbabweans, Africans, to support our local landscapes and nature preserves. These places are fast disappearing; they won't be there for ever if we don't take care of them. I am always enchanted by the beauty of our country. Its rivers, mountains, air, and sunshine. They are a part of us and make us who we are.
