On June 29, the Strawberry Moon will rise as the first full moon of summer
Despite its name, the Moon won’t actually appear pink. The name comes from Native American tribes who used this full moon to mark the short season of wild strawberry harvesting across North America.
But under warm summer skies, it often glows in soft shades of gold, peach, and rose near the horizon creating one of the most beautiful moonrises of the year.
A quiet reminder that even the universe has seasons.

THE LONGEST DAY OF THE YEAR IS ALMOST HERE! ☀️🌍
Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 21, 2026! The Summer Solstice officially ushers in astronomical summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
Thanks to Earth's 23.5° axial tilt, we will experience peak daylight—yielding over 15 hours of gorgeous sunshine in mid-latitude regions! Meanwhile, communities above the Arctic Circle will experience the magical 24-hour 'Midnight Sun'.
Daylight duration increases the further north you travel from the equator:
• Miami, FL (25.8° N): ~13 hours, 45 minutes
• Los Angeles, CA (34° N): ~14 hours, 26 minutes
• New York, NY (40.7° N): ~15 hours, 6 minutes
• Seattle, WA (47.6° N): ~16 hours, 0 minutes
• Arctic Circle (66.5° N): 24 hours of continuous light (The Midnight Sun).
Soak up the extra daytime hours and enjoy the shortest night of 2026! 🕶✨
How are you planning to use your extra sunshine? Let us know below! 🌌

🌑🔥 People are still sharing incredible Blood Moon photos from recent eclipses 🌌✨
During a total lunar eclipse, Earth moves perfectly between the Sun and the Moon — but instead of disappearing completely, the Moon glows a haunting deep red ❤️🌕
That color comes from Earth’s atmosphere bending and filtering sunlight onto the lunar surface. Shorter blue wavelengths scatter away, while deep red and orange light continues through — painting the Moon in shades of crimson across the night sky. 🌎✨
For thousands of years, Blood Moons inspired myths, fear, and wonder in civilizations around the world. Today, they remain one of the most breathtaking celestial events visible without a telescope. 🔭🌌

👉🌈 Rainbow Halo Over Stonehenge at Sunset 🌅
A breathtaking sunset creates a magical scene as the Sun aligns perfectly behind Stonehenge, while a glowing rainbow-colored ring appears high in the sky.
This stunning phenomenon resembles an atmospheric halo, which forms when sunlight passes through tiny ice crystals, thin clouds, haze, or moisture in the upper atmosphere. As the light bends and spreads, it creates a large circular spectrum of colors around the Sun. The warm evening sunlight also paints the clouds in brilliant shades of gold, orange, and amber.
Combined with the ancient stones of Stonehenge, the view feels almost otherworldly—like a rare meeting of nature, light, and history. The dramatic halo, glowing sky, and iconic monument create a truly unforgettable sight.
Scenes like this are most likely to be seen across wide open landscapes at sunset, especially in places such as Stonehenge, Salisbury Plain, and other expansive horizons where low sunlight, thin clouds, and atmospheric moisture come together to produce spectacular halo displays. ✨

Mark Your Calendars: A Once-in-a-Century Phenomenon! 🌑

On August 2, 2027, a rare cosmic alignment will produce the longest total solar eclipse visible on land this century. For more than six minutes, the Moon will completely block the Sun, revealing the glowing solar corona in a way most people will never witness in their lifetime.

This perfect cosmic alignment—creating an extended period of daytime darkness—is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. An event of this magnitude won't grace our skies again for another 100 years!

Whether you're an avid astronomer or just love witnessing the magic of the universe, this is a moment you cannot afford to miss. Grab your viewing glasses and get ready to look up. 🌌✨
