So sad to see this movie theatre close. 💔🎬 This place will always hold one of my favorite memories—11 years ago, Pete and I got engaged here.

Pete told us he had gotten movie tickets. When we walked into the theatre, it was completely empty. The movie started, and suddenly we realized it wasn’t a movie at all… it was a movie about us. ❤️

Pete had produced a film of all our adventures and memories together, and at the end, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And Hunter and I both said YES! 🥹💍

So many memories were made in this theatre, but this one will forever be the most special. Closing or not, this place will always be a little piece of our family’s story. ❤️🎥

Fun fact about me on my birthday:

Every year, I ask Hunter to write me a letter. ❤️ I tell him, “Write me something from the heart. Open up. Say anything you want.” Once a year, I get a letter that holds my heart in my hands.

This year, I decided I wanted the same from ALL of my kids. For my birthday, I asked each of them to write me a letter. No presents, no shopping… just something from the heart.

It’s honestly my favorite gift to receive. The words I’ll keep forever. ❤️

Our girls absolutely LOVED sleepaway camp! 🥹❤️ They actually cried when it was time to come home, which says it all. Camp Waziyatah was everything they dreamed it would be — sports, adventures, friendships, nonstop fun, and so many memories they’ll never forget.
