💔⚾ Hutsonville Mourns 10-Year-Old Ryder Terry, a Bright Young Athlete With a Heart of Gold

The Hutsonville community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of 10-year-old Ryder Keith Terry, a beloved fifth grader whose joyful spirit, kindness, and love of sports touched everyone around him.

Ryder passed away on July 25, 2026, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Though his life was far too short, he filled every day with adventure, laughter, energy, and love.

From a young age, Ryder loved dirt bikes and racing alongside his dad and brothers. He competed in motocross before discovering an even greater passion—baseball.

As a proud member of the Legends travel baseball team, Ryder played pitcher, shortstop, and catcher, but catching was where he felt most at home. He practiced with determination and was always eager for another chance to improve.

Ryder also loved football and basketball. During his very first football game, he scored an unforgettable touchdown and celebrated with a dance that brought smiles to everyone watching.

But what made Ryder truly special was the way he treated others. He encouraged his teammates, celebrated their successes, and often cheered louder for them than for himself.

His teachers remembered him as respectful, thoughtful, compassionate, and full of personality. His quick wit and clever jokes could brighten any classroom.

Ryder’s greatest happiness came from spending time with his younger brothers, Raiden and Tripp. Together, they explored outdoors, played sports, wrestled around the house, and created precious memories their family will carry forever.

He also enjoyed drawing detailed pictures of the Titanic, collecting rare Pokémon cards, and attending West Union Christian Church with his family.

Those who loved Ryder find comfort believing he is now with Jesus, still wearing the unforgettable smile that brought so much happiness to the world.

🚒🙏 Veteran Firefighter Critically Injured During Rescue Training

A day meant to prepare firefighters for dangerous rescues ended in tragedy when West Metro Fire Rescue Firefighter/Paramedic Jarrod Leonard fell approximately 50 feet during high-angle rescue training near Morrison, west of C-470.

Jarrod suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a local hospital, where he remains under intensive medical care and continues to undergo evaluations.

For more than 23 years, Jarrod has devoted his life to protecting others. Beyond answering emergency calls, he has trained countless firefighters in technical rescue skills, helping prepare them for some of the most challenging and dangerous situations imaginable.

Now, the man who has spent decades rescuing others needs the strength and support of his community.

🚨 Please Help Find Missing North Carolina Woman Robin M. Doyle

A North Carolina family is urgently searching for 58-year-old Robin M. Doyle, who disappeared from her home in Hickory’s Crestmont neighborhood.

Robin was last seen by a family member at around 5:00 p.m. on July 27. Since then, no one has heard from her, and her loved ones are growing increasingly worried.

She is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office has launched an active investigation and is working to determine what happened. Authorities say they have not ruled out the possibility that another person may have been involved.

Anyone who has seen Robin or knows anything about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office immediately.

🚨 Tucson Officer Praised for Brave Response During Downtown Attack

Tucson Police Officer Tanner Wolverton is being praised for his courage and quick thinking after nine people were wounded during a frightening incident in downtown Tucson early on July 19.

Officer Wolverton, a seven-year department veteran, was on patrol when he heard loud reports and immediately rushed toward the danger. He spotted an armed suspect moving through a crowded area and ordered him to surrender.

When the suspect refused to comply, Wolverton acted quickly to stop the threat and prevent more people from being injured.

After taking the suspect into custody, the officer immediately began providing first aid until emergency medical crews arrived. Nine victims and the suspect were transported to a local hospital, and all nine victims are expected to recover.

Investigators believe the incident began after a verbal argument. The suspect remains hospitalized and is expected to face multiple charges after being released.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

Lileeann Jean Baker was on this earth for only six months and five days, but the love and courage she shared will remain with her family forever.

Born at just 26 weeks and four days, Lileeann spent her entire life fighting with remarkable strength. Through every challenge, she showed an incredible determination that inspired everyone who cared for her.

Even during the hardest days, Lileeann brought joy through her tiny finger squeezes, gentle eye contact, and beautiful smiles. Those precious moments became unforgettable gifts to the people who loved her most.

On July 17, 2026, Lileeann passed away at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, leaving her family with a heartbreak words cannot describe.

She will be deeply missed by her parents, Terri Smith and Jason Baker, her grandparents, Kevin and Tina Baker and Pamela Smith, her sister, Stephanie Wardell, and her brother, Shawn Baker. She was welcomed into Heaven by her grandfather, Timothy Smith.

Family and friends will gather on August 3 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, to celebrate her precious life before she is laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan.

Lileeann’s journey may have been short, but her strength, smiles, and love made a lasting impact. She will always be remembered as a beautiful little fighter who changed countless hearts. 🕊️❤️

‼️🙏 Please Pray for 17-Year-Old Mileena After a Devastating I-40 Crash

One moment, 17-year-old Mileena was driving along Interstate 40 near Del City, Oklahoma. The next, her life—and her family’s world—changed forever.

Police say Friday’s multi-vehicle crash involved at least three vehicles and injured three people. Mileena suffered severe burns and was rushed to the hospital, where she is now fighting for her life.

Her family remains beside her as doctors and nurses do everything possible to help her survive and begin the long road to recovery.

In a heartbreaking message, her mother, Stephanie, described Mileena as her “beautiful girl,” her “first love,” and her “first baby.” She shared the pain, anger, fear, and helplessness of watching her daughter suffer.

“I wish I could take her pain,” she wrote. “I wish I could trade places with her. I’d do it in a heartbeat.”

Despite her heartbreak, Stephanie remains grateful that Mileena is alive and continues praying for a miracle.

Choctaw Mayor Chad Allcox has also asked the community to pray for Mileena, the others injured, their families, the first responders, and the medical teams caring for them.

“When one family hurts in our community, our community comes together,” he shared.

‼️🙏 South Texas Mom Undergoes Major Surgery in Her Fight Against Cancer

This morning, Cindy Banda is facing one of the biggest surgeries of her cancer journey—fighting not only for her own life, but for the six children who depend on her.

After her sister, Melissa Banda, was tragically killed in 2020, Cindy immediately stepped in to raise Melissa’s three children alongside her own. Six children, all receiving the love and care of one devoted mother.

Then breast cancer changed everything.

Cindy underwent a mastectomy in October, but doctors later discovered that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. Today, she is undergoing a hysterectomy because her cancer is fueled by estrogen. Doctors hope removing her uterus and ovaries will help stop the cancer from growing and bring her closer to healing.

Cindy admits she is scared and exhausted from being sick, but she is still holding onto hope.

“I’m hopeful this will bring me one step closer to healing and even being cancer-free,” she shared. “A girl can dream.”
