MY HUSBAND FORBADE OUR KIDS TO PLAY WITH OUR NEIGHBORS' CHILDREN AND GAVE ME A FAKE REASON – THEN OUR NEIGHBOR'S WIFE TOLD ME THE TRUTH

Last summer, we moved into a new neighborhood with our three kids, right next to the Johnsons, who have four. Perfect setup, right? Our kids were practically glued together, playing nonstop. It was great — until it wasn't.

One morning, out of nowhere, Tom decides our kids can't play with the Johnsons anymore. Emily asks if she can go see Lily, and he just shuts it down. Without even looking up from his coffee, he says, "You don’t need to, and I don't want to deal with anything today."

Emily's crushed and goes back to her room. I ask Tom, "What's going on? Why can't the kids play with their friends?"

That's when things become super weird. He starts rambling about how he's tired of our things getting broken, like the basketball and frisbee, and says the kids need to stay inside for a few days.

I just stared at him. "You've never had an issue with it before. What's going on?"

And his face gets all dark. "I don't want to talk about it."

Later, I visit Jenny, Mike's wife, for tea, and mention the sudden playdate ban. She sighs. "Mike said the same thing. He doesn't want our kids playing together either. He's been acting strange since he and Tom argued the other day."

A chill runs through me. "Did you hear what they argued about?" And then Jenny NODS and TELLS ME THE TRUTH. ⬇️

MY EX-HUSBAND GOT OUR HOUSE, CAR, AND ALL OUR MONEY AFTER THE DIVORCE – I LAUGHED BECAUSE THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I'D PLANNED

My marriage with Mike was done way before we signed any papers. He'd been more into his flashy image than into us for ages. Big cars, big house — if it screamed "Look at me," he wanted it. So when he finally told me he wanted a divorce, I wasn't shocked. What got me, though, was how quick he was to grab everything. "I want the house, the car, the savings," he said, all smug. He even tossed me the crumbs — my personal stuff, as if that was some generous offer.

I just smiled and nodded. I let him take it all because I knew what was coming. My lawyer looked at me like I was crazy, but I told her to let him have it. We signed the divorce papers, and I moved out that afternoon. I was eager to start my new life, but not before making one final call. Everything was set.

The next morning, my phone rang, and it was Mike, absolutely livid.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" he screamed.
"Oh, Mike," I said, trying not to laugh, "What's wrong now?"
"You know exactly what's wrong!" he yelled. "I'm in my living room, and guess what I'm looking at!" ⬇️🌍⛅️
