Her name is Luna. I adopted her a few days ago. She was curled up in a corner of the shelter, trembling and not making a sound. They told me she was found alone in a cardboard box under the rain. She didn't even meow... just empty eyes. I made her a promise: never fear again, never cold again, never abandonment again. Now she sleeps peacefully, wrapped in her pink sweater, as if she finally understood she's safe. Adopting is giving a second chance to a broken heart. And Luna... is already fixing mine.

My husband WAS not a cat person. He barely tolerated my kitties but my female cat suddenly started climbing on him and laying on his chest. Even when he pushed her off she would keep coming back. He would say WTF does she want?? This went on for a few weeks he was like she’s trying to tell me something.. then he wasn’t feeling good ao he went to the Dr. Two weeks later he was having quadruple bypass. He is convinced the cat KNEW something was wrong and now they are best friends.

"The first night after my partner rescued this little kitten, it was cold, lonely and scared, not knowing where to go." Her small body showed signs of suffering, but her eyes still held a glimmer of hope. All I needed was safety, warmth and love.

And then my partner appeared. Or maybe it was the kitten who found it. Without thinking about it, he lifted it, wrapped it with care and offered him a world without fear.
