Got my 428 block back from the machine shop and noticed something that has me second-guessing everything. The #1 cam bearing oil hole lines up with the main oil passage, but the rest look blocked off. Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but how are the other cam journals supposed to get oil like this?

Is this normal, or does this need to go right back? 😬🔧

So I recently went to Lowe’s to replace this old broken ratchet. I was told they no longer do this and I would have to call craftsman directly. After one month of waiting this is what I received. I do not think this is an equivalent tool. What do you guys think? What are your experiences exchanging broken tools. I miss Sears. 🤔💬🛠️

Just checked my trailer tire and noticed this section is worn almost completely smooth while other areas still have visible tread. The wear pattern seems uneven, and there are signs of scrubbing and tearing across the tread surface. I'm trying to figure out whether this is caused by an alignment issue, bad suspension components, incorrect tire pressure, or something else entirely. Has anyone seen wear like this before, and what would you check first before putting this trailer back on the road? 🚛🤔

Back in the day, if they needed a special tool, they didn't order it online. They built it themselves. My grandpa made this one from spare parts years ago, and I still have no clue what it was used for.
