Musarrat Khan Achieves Outstanding Success in Subject Specialist Examination

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has announced the results of the Subject Specialist (Grade 17) examination and interviews, in which Musarrat Khan, daughter of Mir Wazir Khan, has achieved remarkable success.

Musarrat Khan completed her higher education at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. She is currently serving as a teacher at a Federal Government Elementary and Secondary School. Previously, she was associated with the Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKESP).

Her father, Mir Wazir Khan, served as an HR Manager at the Aga Khan Education Service before retiring, while her mother is currently posted as an SST Teacher at the Government High School, Awi.

Chitraltown extends its heartfelt congratulations to Musarrat Khan and her family on this outstanding achievement.

The Capital City of the former state was the Chitral Town, which is situated on the west bank of the Chitral (or Kunar River) at the foot of Tirich Mir which at 7,708 m (25,289 ft) is the highest peak of the Hindu Kush. The borders of the state were seldom stable and fluctuated with the fortunes of Chitral's rulers, the Mehtars.[2] The official language of the state was Persian, a legacy of the adaptation policy of the early Delhi Sultanate and Mughal times. The general population of the state was mainly of the Kho people, who spoke Khowar which is a Dardic language in the Indo-Aryan group. The Khowar language is also spoken in parts of Yasin, Gilgit and Swat.
