A short film capturing the excitement of the FASHION SCHOLARSHIP FUND's 2025 Gala where 160 students from across the country are flown to New York City to meet face-to-face with Anna Wintour, designers Wes Gordon of Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Daniella Kallmeyer, Fear of God's Jerry Lorenzo, Bibhu Mohapatra and Michelle Ochs of Herve Leger, Favorite Daughter's Erin and Sara Foster, retailers including Macy's CEO Tony Spring, Kevin Harter of Bloomingdale's and Bruce Pask of Neiman Marcus, the Washington Post's Robin Givhan and stylist Law Roach. Of the four finalists, the lucky winner takes home a $25,000 scholarship. What a night!

Two and a half years ago, Kate lost her 16-year-old daughter, Penny, to a genetic condition, Neurofibromatosis or NF that affects 21 out of every 2500 kids. It makes bones easily breakable and causes tumors to grow—sometimes benign, sometimes malignant.

"I’ve come to realize that Penny was actually luckier than many of us. In her brief 16 years on this earth, she found her purpose…and, with that purpose, created a legacy that continues to thrive today.
