I see many people complaining of their referees not responding to their calls or messages on reference letters. Let me ask: when last did you speak to your Lecturer prior tor this request? Answer that question first. Do you even send them monthly messages, or do you text them randomly?
Do you care about their well-being? When last did you do those things? You need a good rapport and healthy relationship with your professors!
I have continuously been in contact with most of my professors even those whom I don’t need their help.
As from today, try and keep a healthy relationship with your professors! They are humans too and have family and work-related challenges.
Pick this as one of the numerous lessons you have learned from this platform!
