Turning my house into a home-tel

+ day 7!

02/28/2025

Bedroom transformation part 1++. First time doing crown molding and I

think I did pretty good! It was surprisingly easy to do thanks to that laser ▲ (geometry has never been my thing). I was going for a very Regency/West indies feel and I'm in loveeee!! RENTERS, you can easily do this with peel and stick Crown molding, removable wallpaper & paint, let me know if you want to see a tutorial for that. Overall I'm in loveees but what do you guys think??++

Dollar tree hack!

12/12/2024

So I'm obsessed with this renter friendly window hack! If you're an OG follower you probably remember me doing this DIY last May! Well it's been upgraded and I'm here for it!!. It was sooo easy to do and only $12 per window! You'll need: 1" wood from Home Depot (measure your window for dimensions), electric tape (I used this instead of painting my borders black- keeping it renter friendly), gorilla tape or a staple gun, and black spray paint. Step 1. Line the window border with the black tape (if you have a window border). 2. Cut the wood to your window dimensions and staple (or glue) it together at the center of the cross to create a grid. Make sure they are the same distance wise. 3. Place the gorilla tape at the top + bottom of the grid. 4.

Stick it on the taped borders & you're done!

In case you're looking for pinterest keywords, here you go!

This is what I type in to find each style. For my Pinterest searches, I usually type in "Modern West Indies" instead of "British colonial" because it highlights the twist on the classic colonial style, focusing more on the tropical and relaxed elements rather than the heavier British colonial furniture.

For the last pics I typically type in "Tropical with Asian Influence" because it emphasizes a fresh, exotic style that blends vibrant tropical vibes with elegant Asian-inspired elements.

Do y'all have a favorite???

IKEA COFFEE TABLE HACK!

09/28/2024

Yallll im in loveee! My goal was to create some kind of renter friendly build in/cabintry and I love it already! I still need to add more wood veneer to the bottom and add one last thing that's going to pull it all together (youll see in part 2). Everythings renter friendly, and from Amazon! Are we team greenery wall or team display wall?++

POV you're renting & want to change your kitchen backsplash buttttt youre tired of contact paper. This was so easy to do but Im definitely going to post a step by step, so stay tuned for that! I used actual countertop laminate and im in loveee! The laminates from home depot & its sooo light but still very durable & scratch + heat resistant! & did i mention it cost less than $200!? The sheet is super long but I ended up breaking it (which is why it ended up being two pieces instead of one clean piece) & sooo beautiful in person! You can get it cut somewhere or use laminate shears but I ended up using my cheap little hand saw (soooo convenient) to cut it. I used peel and stick trim to seal off the ends & couldnt be happier! This whole project took me less than 3 hours.

everythingeryn Easy Floating candle Halloween DIY! So I'm not huge on Halloween (I was too scared to trick or treat as a child & I've never been in a haunted house) so I dont really do scary. But I love this DIY! You will need LED candle sticks (ordered mine from Amazon), fishing wire and a staple gun! Step 1- Cut your fishing wire to your desired length-my candles are about 1-2.5 ft above the table. Step 2- tie & knot the fishing wire around the candle "flame". Step 3- staple the wire to the ceiling and tie another knot around the staple to secure. That's It, only 3 steps! It's Super easy and sure to Wow your guest! Let me know If you guys try it!

✨✨everythingeryn So I made this video two years ago but for those who can't find that large IKEA picture frame (in my large wall gallery DIY video) this DIY may help! The only difference is the dimensions (55x78") & I also wouldn't add the board behind (saves you money + time). I also made an in-depth YouTube video, T'll link it on my story! Was anybody following me back then? Literally memory lane.
