The Daily Occupier - A Citizen Journalist Platform

The Daily Occupier, currently being incubated within an affinity group formed from an open call made in January, is a platform being designed by and for citizen journalists who are active within Occupy Wall Street. TDO will be: A platform (versus an umbrella) for the many voices of citizen journalism within the Occupy movement - starting in New York City and, we hope, expanding far and wide. A co-operative effort through which citizen journalists can help each other to sustain the journalistic component of Occupy activism, to improve and expand our roles and effectiveness, and to help foster a stable and consistent dialogue among participants in the movement. A curated, accessible and contextualized collection of the massive quantity of crowd-sourced information about Occupy Wall Street and the Occupy movement.
