Today there was a blizzard in NYC. Typically the snow adds stress to my day whether it’s to my commute or to me fighting to keep my body temperature up due to my health. Today was different. I needed to get to my nuclear medicine appointment regardless of the delays or how I felt. I walked through Central Park on my way back taking as many breaks as needed. It was peaceful. The snow pure and beautiful. The cold air kept my nausea at bay long enough for me to pick up my meds from the pharmacy. That walk met me where I needed it.

It’s always a delightful surprise finding my work in the wild. Sometimes you just don’t run into it & other times it could’ve made the floor cut. Shot for back in Sept 2021. I was already not feeling good not knowing why. A month later I was diagnosed with cancer. With everything going on in my life I gave up keeping an eye out for it in the wild. Yesterday, my friend texted me “GIRL U ARE AN ESTEE LAUDER MODEL???” with the pics on website. Thank you for sending it to me, it made my evening. Xx
