Swae Lee is Unstoppable
Swae Lee has been the man of the hour for a minute now. At just 27, he's harnessed an alien-like ability to soundtrack our scrolling as we've collectively moved from one social media platform to the next.
The multi-faceted star is our November digital cover boy.

Jack Kilmer, the Moncler Man
Think about 1952. Regardless of drive-in movies, greased back hair and milkshakes, the 1950's afforded people a disconnect from technology—a complete absence of modern technology and social structures, in fact—that feels distant and special now that these structures rule our world.
This is what Moncler hopes to encapsulate with their Moncler 1952 collection—this feeling of tactility, enhanced by a world that is vibrant and colorful, sans scrolling.

A Guide to Allyship
Your Black peers may seem okay, but it is painful to be Black in America.
Over the last few weeks, months, years, Black people have been forced to witness their Black brothers and sisters killed, even mercilessly choked, while going for a jog, resting in their own homes, and going about their daily lives. In combat, they have had to put their lives on the line to contend this violence, these blatant violations of human and civil rights, through protests and activism.
So if you have privilege, use it—your Black peers need your allyship and proactive defense now more than ever.

Redefining Pride: Queer in Quarantine
Once again, Miss 'Rona has deemed mass commemoration and congregation nonessential, leading some of our beloved gatherings to be canceled and left without a remembrance. This year’s pride falls into that box gracefully as we hang up our participation and reflect. Reflect upon our memories of drunken pride parties and cherished coming-out moments. Dismantling systems and fighting for our less vocal brothers, sisters, and siblings, and showing up for them where they cannot be.
The halting of pride has led to a much longer self-reflection period than normal—a year of reflection that says pride is more than waking up extra early, getting drunk at 10 AM, and covering yourself in rainbow fluff. One that asks: Without pride, what do we have?

Meet House of Kenzo
The state of Texas is historically racist, backwards, and controversial. It's also massive and holds immense political power. So, if you had to pick one place in America to begin dismantling outdated and oppressive systems, what better place to start than the Lone Star State?
Here, there is endless open space to build upon, and more importantly, a towering monolith of ignorance to tear down. It's hard to imagine that a radicalized group of queer black artists is actively working to make their house a home in the suburbs of San Antonio, Texas, but they are.
Their name is House of Kenzo.
The enigmatic Texas based collective stars in our June digital cover.

Self-Isolation
In a reality confined by four walls, where do two creative directors turn when the only models they are left to work with are themselves? Created by the indomitable Betsy Johnson and powerhouse Kurt Johnson, “Self-Isolation” is a collaborative photo series that takes the form of a quarantine diary.

The Medical-Creative
For Wole Olosunde, fashion and medicine are inherently linked.
The 22-year-old native New Yorker runs his own brand, Against Medical Advice—a passion project born out of his fascination with both clothing and the human body. He is also a full-time registered nurse, working night shifts at one of the busiest emergency rooms in the city (he prefers for us to not publicize which one).

Princess Gollum Goes Offline
Princess Gollum, a*k*a Josephine Lee, is the internet creature/DJgurl/dark muse/shapeshifting angel of beauty who we love to love. The 28-year-old artist––who’s exclusively revealed to office that she’s newly identifying as “hot! not cute”––transcends the norm without trying; it’s just her way.

Simon Bouillère, Chambre Avec Nue
The end of the week normally calls for leisure, and that shouldn’t stop just because of isolation. With more access to art exhibitions than ever from the comfort of your chaise, we at office have taken the liberty of telling you which ones are worth “attending.”

Shelley Hennig Is Not Your Girl Next Door
When Shelley Hennig says she’s a hustler, we’d have to agree. Among her long list of roles as an actress, she can boast having been Miss Teen USA, Malia Tate from Teen Wolf, and most recently Ramona from Hulu’s series Dollface. You already know—Hennig’s nailed down the part of the favorite girl-next-door. But when asked about what’s next for the star (and everyone’s favorite social media personality, tbh), Hennig will tell you: she’s ready to play a more adult role.

“The best solution if you’re holed up with your significant other, quarantined, is to have sex,” according to Dr. Oz, but not everybody has the luxury—or the burden rather. Not to mention, social distancing has been wreaking havoc on casual dating.
So, in the mean time, leading lady Lana Rhoades makes her office debut in an exclusive photo series in collaboration with Brazzers.

Kim Kardashian’s Butt Is Now Wearable
You’re running down Varrick, through the construction just to get into line for your third show of the day. But wait, no, it can’t be… Kim Kardashian is standing right in front of you. What is she doing here? You take a cool, caluculated breath and just as run up to try and snag a selfie, she turns around before you can say “Skims”. And, to your dismay, it is definitely not the real Kim K.

The Master of Disguise
There’s the Austin who lost two of his teeth in a sledding accident, age seven and wore fake teeth up until a couple of years ago when he embraced his identity as a toothless wunderkind. Then there’s the Aus who makes hot sauce with his high school friends.
We’ve got Audi, who caught office’s eye as early as 2017 with his explosive modeling career, and who walked most recently for the Gucci, Prada, and Raf fall/winter 2020 campaigns, among others—and we've got him at The Standard for the day.

Overcoat F/W '20
Juxtaposing American spirit and Japanese draping techniques, Overcoat debuted their latest collection. The show included monochrome looks and classic oversized coats, even bringing back the brand's signature cloaks—but this time with an unmistakable patriotic spin on it.
Ryuhei Oomaru's latest outerwear collection is red-hot with American spirit.

Super Bowl Meditation
As the players on the field stretch their bodies, essentially preparing for a medium-bad car crash with a few minutes of the newest innovations in foam rolling, we’re going to stretch our minds. This cognitive stretching will render your awareness expansive and supple.
By kickoff, when the opening whistle finally blows, you’ll be more awake to the world, sensitive enough to literally feel 100,000,000 American sphincters tighten with both excitement—this is the biggest game of the year—and disappointment—this is the biggest game of the year.

Burger Nation
We meet at office HQ, a quick hug, then she asks me, “What’s the tea?”
Luckily, there is tea in store: Boba Guys, next door. Our barista compliments Dai’s sparkling nails as she orders a lavender black tea latté. “Lavender black… wait—me, right now!” she jokes, referencing her icy purple hair.
Downtown is an apt place to meet Dai Burger. It’s where she got started in the industry: moshing on tables in the Bowery, while working with Patricia Field, the Oscar-nominated costume designer whose collection is equal parts street art, kawaii, and high fashion.
Dai Burger doesn’t miss a beat.

Odds are you already know Bambii. And if you don’t, you’re probably familiar with the effects of her genre-bending club music, or her highly celebrated JERK parties. No matter what she’s working with, Bambii brings a unique fushion to everything she creates while also actively speaking out and creating spaces for queer POC youth.

Love for Leisha
I don’t even want to imagine a world where accepting you want to date women (as a non-cishet man) doesn’t lead to bingeing “The L Word.”
office speaks to 'The L Word' star Leisha Hailey about the long-anticipated revival of the iconic early 2000's LGBTQ show.

OAMC F/W '20
When we caught up with the creative director last season, he gave us insight into his design process, not only in season's past but also pertaining to all things OAMC: "We always begin with an idea, a feeling we want to develop and some references that express that feeling. I work with a great design team, and initially, I give them a brief which contains many ideas, concepts, and images that initiate dialogue. We speak about different directions, we do deep research, not only in terms of actual garments and images, but music, film, art, and photography as well—whatever can relate to what we want to create."
office went backstage to check out the latest from the Paris-based fashion brand.

The Many Lives of Julia Fox
“I’m not very vulnerable in everyday life but I am in my art. I am from a Catholic upbringing where sex is seen as bad and gross. But growing up in Manhattan, sex was everywhere. And I like sex, sex that is taboo, sex that is dirty. I like that in porn too, but that’s another story…”
Julia Fox
The artist and model uses her body, and photographing it, as a form of strength.

Rooted in Realness
“I speak to myself. I have my own mind. Nobody can manipulate me. Nobody can tell me what I need to do, or what I don’t need to do. I know what I need to do, I’m not stupid.” - Young M.A (Me Always)

Year of the Coi
We’re not talking fish when we say that Coi is a physical embodiment of luck, abundance and pure perseverance. Undoubtedly an icon in the making, Coi Leray is set to headline her own tour in 2020 on top of cooking up a debut project in the meantime. “It’s gonna be out of this world,” promises Leray. “Everybody’s just gotta keep waiting.”
Coi Leray closes out the decade with office's December 2019 digital cover.
