On 22 July 1933, American aviation pioneer Wiley Post achieved a historic milestone by completing the world’s first solo flight around the globe. ✈️🌎

Flying his famous aircraft “Winnie Mae”, Wiley Post departed on a journey that tested the limits of human courage, technology, and aviation skill. After travelling thousands of miles across continents and oceans, he landed in New York after an incredible 7 days, 18 hours, and 49 minutes — setting a new record for global air travel.

This remarkable achievement proved that long-distance air travel was becoming a reality and inspired future generations of pilots and explorers. Wiley Post’s determination and pioneering spirit made him one of the most remembered figures in the history of aviation. 🏆
