[2] The ACLU of Mississippi is looking for a talented Videographer/Storyteller to help bring voices to life through their Trans Storytelling Project
[3] Refill Jackson Initiative is currently recruiting for their next cohort. They offer two programs, a 4-week Pre-Employment Training, with the option to continue in a 3-month On-The-Job Work Experience.
Both components offer a modest living stipend, along with wrap-around social services to address barriers to employment such as housing and food insecurity, access to healthcare, transportation, assistance with childcare, and obtaining vital documents such as a Driver’s License, birth certificate, social security card, etc. For people between the ages of 18-26.
[4] The Braiding Seeds Fellowship, a project of Soul Fire Farm Institute in collaboration with the Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund, uplifts and supports beginning Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color farmers, growers, and land stewards across the Northeast and Southeast of the US who are committed to advancing food sovereignty, cultural preservation, and community care.
