I think yall will get a kick out of this.
So I have a 12x10 area that I’ve left abandoned all through winter and was planning on redoing it all to make it an area for broody hens, crazy roosters that need a time out and a healing area for any that may get sick.
Long story short, besides the cleaning and repairs that need to be done…
I think I fell and hit my head because.. we apparently have a broody rooster sitting on a bunch of rogue duck and chicken eggs….

Hi All, my wife and kids insisted we have chickens. I begrudgingly gave in to their demands 4 months ago after building a home and run for them and rat proofing food store.
Today, I wouldn't be without them. They follow me everywhere and appear when I least expect sat almost on my shoulder on my garden bench.
Winston, Big Chick, Big Feet and Dotty are now part of our lives and all have their own personalities. I could never have imagined this scenario !
(Obviously the kids named them).

Quite a few people have asked, I have 80ish chickens!
In today's episode of "Lifestyles of the Chicken Famous," I came home to find that my dog Finn had gotten the back door open. I also forgot to close the chicken gate, so nearly all of my chickens invited themselves in for a house party. I cleaned for hours, and I'm still not completely done... the guilty party is in the third picture. He wouldn't even look at me.

So I went to go feed the kids and I seen the babies running around the yard. I was like wtf. How'd they get out. I go to their pen and see this guy.... I was able to get him out with out causing injury. And ohhh man. He was gorgeous. But no u cannot have my kids. Go find mice. Got the kids wrangler back up and stapled the chicken wire back up.

This is an oil filled heater. Nothing glowing red .Nothing to start on fire. If you want to keep your peeps in 0 weather all the time. Good for you. I do what I want to do. And I wouldn't like to stay in 0 weather all the time. It works fine. Not enough room for them to get on top of it. This way I don't have to defrost the eggs. My birds repay me with unfrozen eggs. Lol

Do turkeys have Strokes? My turkey was running back and forth in Gobbling excited because the grandkids are here. He drew up his leg And his head c**k to the side, And Was dead when he hit the ground My poor grandson Said Papa please help something's wrong With big boy. Never had a chicken or Turkey die like that so suddenly. My Turkey was 8 years old.

This is my buddy Sideshow Bob. He's the house rooster. He's a good guy until he drinks all my coffee ☕ and sometimes he gets into my cannabis. Problem is he crows randomly throughout the night. Is there any way to humanly discourage this? The flock won't accept him. Hannibal Pe**er and King K**k keep attacking him.
