It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Coach Paul Kontonis from Eleftheria and our president from Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League

Our community is still in shock, especially after meeting with him just yesterday. Paul was a leader, a mentor, and an inspiration to many, and his loss leaves a void that cannot be filled.

Our soccer club joins his family, Eleftheria, and the entire community in this time of grief, standing with them through this painful moment. May his memory live on through every player, every team, and every lesson he shared.

Rest in peace, Coach Paul. Your legacy will continue to guide all of us who had the privilege of knowing you.

¡Un golazo de Mateo!
These young athletes gave everything they had on the field.

They faced challenges throughout the tournament, but they stayed determined and always tried their best.

We know there is still a lot of work to do with this team, but this was their first travel season—and they competed in two travel tournaments this fall season. That alone is a huge accomplishment.

From only playing on our home field in Flushing to now traveling and competing on beautiful fields all around the boroughs, they experienced something new and exciting this season.

We’re proud of them, and we will continue to work harder and stronger together.

We are proud to present our youngest age group for travel! For many of these players, this was their very first travel season—an introduction to the CJSL fall season.

Thank you to all the parents who were committed and dedicated, bringing the players to different parts of the city.

At such a young age. We’re teaching them early the importance of responsibility and showing up for their team.

Coach Jenny is always staying up to date with her first aid and first responder training. She has successfully completed Seizure Recognition and First Aid.
The safety of all staff and children is extremely important to her, and she understands the importance of acting quickly and effectively in these situations.

Our Fall 2025 U-8 team wrapped up the CJSL Tournament today! ⚽🎉
