Recently, NYAA hosted a mix clinic with ace engineer Ben Lindel. Ben has worked with a full range of great artist like MGMT, 50 Cent, Bebel Gilberto and hundreds of others. Students were able to ask questions about Ben's extensive experience Mixing, Tracking and Producing. Congrats to Engine Room Audio clients Trey Songz and Mr. Probz who both have #1's in the Billboard charts this week! (Engine Room Audio is NYAA's host studio). Mr Probz on the Heatseekers Chart and Trey on the Adult R&B chart. Both records were Mastered at Engine Room by Mark B Christensen.

Students at The New York Audio Academy were very happy to host Angela Yee last week for a guest speaking engagement at Engine Room Audio. Angela shared her amazing life experience in the music industry with us. Students were able to speak one on one with her, to ask questions and learn from her extensive experience in artist management ( Wu-Tang Clan, Jay Electronica) as well as her nationally syndicated radio show At The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 .
