Africa and the rest of the world lost a real leader today. Rest well former United Nations Secretary Mr. Kofi Annan.

Many of you have commented on Kofi Annan's death as the loss of a great leader. Here's what he had to say about what leadership means to him:

Football Rules of our childhood - Cool kids will never understand this

1-The fat kid is always the keeper
2-The game ends only if all players are tired (EXCEPT RULE 5)
3-No matter the score, the team that scores the last goal wins the game
4-There is no referee
5-If the owner of the ball gets angry the game is over
6-The 2 best players can't play on the same team, so everyone chooses their players
7-If you are chosen the last one is a humiliation
8-If there is penalty the keeper is replaced by the best player of his team and says "not for good" to mean that after the penalty, the keeper returns to his post
9-When the ball comes out of the playground to a remote destination, it's the hitter who's going to get the ball
10-The best player on the ground is always on the same team as the owner of the ball
11-To start a game we always said "Epp the game begins"
12-To distinguish teams, a team should play shirtless
13- You kick the ball in the air to start a match
14- Its all massive attack, massive defence
If you were once a victim, what else do you think I missed to include in the rules?

PLEASE HELP TO SAVE MY WIFE PLEASE CAN YOU READ AND SHARE FOR ME. THANK YOU SO MUCH. For anyone who doesn't already know, my wife gave birth to our second son 7 weeks ago and suffered complications with renal failure resulting in her having 2 blood transfusions after giving birth. 3 weeks ago she was rushed to hospital where she spent 14 days in high care after discovering multiple blood clots in her left lung. After over 30 blood thinning injections in Hospital and now warfarin tablets, the clots have still not dissolved. She also has acute renal failure and it was determined by ultrasound 5 days ago that she was in fact only born with the one kidney which is failing. I'm trying desperately to raise funds for her to go on dialysis or have a transplant through a private hospital as the chance of her getting either through a public hospital are slim to none as you will see below which are stats I researched extensively and which anyone can check up on to confirm. After a lot of research, there are over 47 000 people with acute renal failure in the Eastern Province alone yet under 300 receive dialysis from state hospitals each year due to the costs. It costs hospitals R200 000 a year per patient on dialysis and R90 000 a year for a transplant treatment per year. The chances of her receiving either are slim to none unless she goes through a private hospital. My wife is in constant pain and is not able to work now and I don't have big income and being the sole bread winner now to support my family I am under enormous pressure. All I want is to see my wife get the treatment she needs or have a transplant so we can be a family and watch our 2 boys grow up. All medical reports are available if you would like to help in even the smallest way but would like to verify first.
