Thank you to this idiot who blocked me in yesterday at Long Eaton Tesco. I couldn’t get into my car already as my keys had got so drenched in the rain that I had to manually get into my car. However, I couldn’t get into the drivers side as I was blocked in!! Managed to get into the passenger side after about an hour of trying to get in but seriously look when you park up!

We stayed at a hotel and went to the free breakfast buffet. There's an omelet bar but the line is so long we just ignored it and served ourselves (bagels, fruit, yogurt, juice, etc).

Imagine our surprise when we were halfway through eating and a staff member puts this on the table without a word and walks away. The free buffet costs $20 each but there's a discount because it's free.

We seated ourselves, served ourselves, and cleaned up after ourselves. Why in the world would we leave a tip?

Parents’ dog ate this and just had to get it surgically removed- what is it?

As the title says, my parents’ dog ate this. We have no idea when or where. We’ve never seen something like this in the yard and it’s not a rock. It feels pretty solid though. It looks like it could be some sort of plant since it looks like it was attached to something else before?? It wouldn’t pass through her so she had to get it surgically removed. Does anybody have any idea what this is???

This is brilliant! We recently had a professional exterminator come out because it seems a community of mice decided to take up residency in our old farmhouse. Of the many things I learned from the exterminator, the most amazing thing was that cotton actually makes the best bait for mouse traps. You see, the mice use the cotton for nesting, and they are almost always nesting, because… well, they breed like mice. And unlike food baits, you can actually roll the cotton up and stick it inside the trap’s trigger, which means the mice have to activate the trigger to get the cotton out, giving you a nearly 100% dispatch rate. And as you can see from the image, it only takes a small amount of cotton. You can use the cotton from the end of a Q-tip. Tell me this isn’t brilliant!

Any suggestions on what to do with this space? My daughter and her fiancée are in the process of buying this house. Not ...

Any suggestions on what to do with this space? My daughter and her fiancée are in the process of buying this house. Not sure why the cabinets weren’t taken to the wall (maybe because of outlet??) but would like to help her come up with an idea. They aren’t in a position to be remodeling the kitchen. All I can think of is shelves. Suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you!
