Four days at .film.fest with great friends.
Saw some films that really blew me away.

Cue Heroes — just felt right.

This year the selection committee really knocked it out of the park.

That’s the thing with local fests… you meet people here, end up working together later, and suddenly that’s your crew.

Barely slept, don’t care.

First day in production with HMIs… and yeah, the Joker 400 blew the bulb instantly.

That’s the risk with old school gear.

But when they work?
That light just hits different.

So now we’re here fixing it on my day 😜 Stay tuned.

We were in Sitges—Spain, just crazy beautiful everywhere you look—and somehow in the middle of all that, we still found time to sit down and talk through a scene that wouldn’t leave us alone.

That’s how it always goes. Doesn’t matter where we are, we’re still working it out.

That conversation right there turned into what is now the most ambitious project we’ve ever tackled together… and I’m honestly proud of what came out of it.

And this only works because of who you surround yourself with. The ones that challenge you, push you, call you out when needed.

Cheers to you, brother. You drive me up the fu***ng wall… but you don’t stop. I respect the hell out of that.

Neglected. Wrapped in crumpled paper at the bottom of the box.
I focused on the rare ones—glamorous, showy, expensive.
This one? Almost gave it away.
Then I finally unwrapped it… and it hit me like a dagger made of stars.

It’s brutal. Beautiful. A living relic.
Don’t sleep on the ones you almost toss.

Veins like stories.
